HPLC purity tells you what share of the detector response belongs to the target peak. Mass spectrometry identity confirmation tells you whether the peptide sequence matches the reference standard. Measured content tells you how much peptide is actually in the vial. A supplier that publishes all three, tied to a specific lot number and an independent laboratory, is operating at the standard researchers should expect.
