Join Amber (of Healing Connections) and Matt (of Mala Wellness Collective) for a transformative experience, where we explore the power of conscious breathing, conscious movement, and mantra, in an immersive practice of breath, sound, and kriya yoga. This event is designed to help you cultivate a deeper awareness and connection to your body and mind and breath.
Includes in the experience is the Deep Bass Breathwork Experience: a fun and energetic breath and sound journey. A powerful combination of ancient and modern breath techniques, immersive sub bass, and the deep, smooth, melodic, psychedelic sounds of the 140 Deep Dubstep music genre.
The Deep Bass Breathwork Experience leaves you feeling a unique mix of revitalized, energized, calm, grounded, present, and at peace. With the breathing rhythms always changing as you breathe along to the music, multiple breath holds of various lengths, and a variety of breath cues and techniques aimed at improving your breathing function and efficiency, the Deep Bass Breathwork Experience produces various beneficial adaptations for a more resilient body, mind, and nervous system.
In this experience you will manipulate your body’s biochemistry, and bring the brain into deeply meditative brainwave states, using music and the breath to shift your energy and release tension from the mind and body. You will tap into visionary states beyond your everyday waking reality, accessing levels of consciousness where important thoughts, ideas, insights, and realizations reside, as you open up to levels of awareness that facilitate personal growth and improve how we experience life.
The evening will conclude with some conscious movement with music designed to release and bring healing and rejuvenation to the nervous system. You will also leave with a special gift which will allow you to reconnect with the energy of this experience!
*please bring your own yoga mat, then optional- bolster or meditation seat (if you prefer to be seated), and anything else you need to be comfortable such as a pillow, eye mask, blanket etc, limited number of tickets available)
*Potential Challenging Effects:
- Negative emotions can arise/be released
- Crying or screaming
- Twitchiness
- Sleepiness
- Tetany (hand/feet cramp)
- Lightheadedness/dizziness/fainting
*Contraindications (If any are present you can simply skip over the breath holds and stick to slower breathing rhythms):
- Severe/critical diseases or infections
- COPD-II and COPD-III
- Organ failure or late-stage terminal illness
- Pregnancy
- Cancer (Exception: your doctor gives you specific permission)
- If you have epilepsy, a pacemaker, or irregular heart beat (Exception: your doctor gives you specific permission)
